Jackpot
Jackpot is a single-player sliding-tile puzzle set in a bioluminescent deep-sea trench, played across twelve hand-tuned levels. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Jackpot does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information we collect
None. There is no account, no sign-in and no server-side profile. The app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or location, and there is no form anywhere that sends what you type to us. The diver name and avatar you can set on the Profile screen are chosen by you, stored on your own phone, and read only by the app itself.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, Jackpot stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Your diver name and avatar — the display name and avatar index you pick on the Profile screen.
- Level progress — the highest trench unlocked, stars earned, best move count and best time for each level, and your best streak.
- An in-progress puzzle — the saved board state, so closing the app mid-level does not lose it.
- Your Pearls balance — current and lifetime Pearls, plus the calendar day of your last daily-reward claim.
- Reef Market purchases — which tile skins you own and which one is selected.
- Achievements — which milestones you have unlocked.
- Your settings — the colorblind-assist and reduced-flash switches.
- An onboarding flag — a single true/false value recording that you have seen the intro, so it is not shown twice.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to Jackpot or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
Jackpot requests no runtime permissions. It never asks for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, storage or notifications, and no code path in the app can prompt you for any of them. The Android manifest declares the ordinary INTERNET permission required by Flutter's tooling; the app itself opens no connection, as described below.
Network use
The app is completely offline. It contains no HTTP client, no socket, no WebView and no backend — there is no server for it to contact. Every level, image and font ships inside the installed package, so the game plays identically in airplane mode. Nothing is uploaded, downloaded, synced or backed up to us.
Third-party services
No advertising SDK, no analytics or attribution SDK, no crash reporter, no social login and no in-app purchase or billing library is integrated. The dependency list is Flutter's own framework plus Hive and shared_preferences (both local, on-device storage), flutter_bloc (in-app state management), share_plus, and a few animation and formatting helpers. None of them contact a network, and no advertising identifier is read. One feature does involve another app, at your request: the Share button on the Profile screen opens your device's own share sheet with a fixed line of text about the game. It contains no personal data and no statistics, and nothing is sent unless you pick an app to send it to — at which point that app's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Children's privacy
Jackpot is suitable for all ages and is safe for children. Because the app collects nothing, transmits nothing and contains no ads, no purchases, no chat and no user-generated content, it cannot gather personal information from a child under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K), knowingly or otherwise. No parental consent mechanism is needed, because there is no data collection to consent to.
Your rights
Everything the app saves stays on your own device, so you already have full control of it. You can view it in the app — the Profile, Chart and Achievements screens show every value it keeps. To erase it, clear the app's storage from your device settings (Settings → Apps → Jackpot → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the app; either removes all of it immediately and permanently. There is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf, because we never receive a copy. Questions can go to the address below.
Changes to this policy
